A notary public is a person of proven integrity, appointed and commissioned by State government as a public officer whose function is to perform notarial acts as an impartial witness, verifying that a person is who he or she claims to be, and that the person is in the presence of the notary.

Arizona defensive driving online programs are a relatively new phenomenon in Arizona. Previously, a person with a traffic ticket who was qualified to attend traffic school had to sit for up to 8 hours in a classroom.  What a great way to spend a Saturday!  Been there, done that, and it was not fun.

Now it is no longer necessary to go sit in a classroom if you have been ordered to take Arizona traffic school.  However, before you can officially finish the online course, there is a catch.

Your final quiz must be observed and notarized by an Arizona Certified Notary Public.  All Notaries charge a fee and those fees vary widely.....all the way from $2 to $75.  So why would you pay our $25 fee if you can get the same thing done elsewhere for two bucks?  Besides the obvious answer that you get what you pay for, that's a good question.
